Requirements for setting up Zoetis:

  • Client ID

  • VetSCAN FUSE device

Contact Zoetis for installing the VetSCAN FUSE device and for getting your Client ID.

If you already have a client ID from Zoetis, follow the steps below:

Step 1 - Connect Zoetis to Digitail

Go to Administration - Integrations and click on Connect under Zoetis and paste the client ID (this is the username from the PIMS Integration page from VetFuse) and click Save.

If you see Connected under the Zoetis integration, it means the connection was successful!

Step 2 - Link your Digitail services with Zoetis

Go to Administration - Services to start linking your services. If you want to link existing services from your clinic, just search for them and click on Edit details. If you want to add a new service, click on Add service.

You will see a new field called Laboratory Services. Type and search here for the corresponding service from Zoetis and click on it. Once selected, click on Save.

Your service has now been linked to the Zoetis one.

📌 To view a list of all the available services, press space in the Laboratory Service search field.

📌 A simple way to make services easily discoverable is to include Zoetis in their name or another code that can help you distinguish between different labs.

Step 3 - Order a Zoetis test

  1. Open a medical record

  2. Go to the Services & Products section of the record

  3. Add the Zoetis linked Service / Lab test

  4. Initiate the lab test ordering process
