The Sales Analysis Report provides a detailed financial breakdown of each sale entry within your system. This comprehensive report offers valuable insights into your sales performance and profitability.

How to

  1. Access the Report:

    • Navigate to Reports -> Financial Reports -> Sales Analysis Report

  2. Explore Report Data:

    • Product/Service: Indicates whether the entry is for a product or service.

    • Category: The category to which the product or service belongs.

    • Item Name: The specific name of the product or service.

    • AAHA Code: The relevant AAHA code (if applicable).

    • Sale Link: A link to the original sale transaction for further details.

    • Visit Type: The type of visit associated with the sale (if applicable).

    • Quantity Sold: The number of units or services sold for each entry.

    • Cost: The total cost associated with the item

      • if a product > sum of cost of sales from the relevant batches

      • if a service > no cost of sales

      • if a service with associated product > sum of cost of sales of the products used from the relevant batches

    • Revenue Pre-Tax: The total revenue generated before taxes.

    • Tax: The amount of tax applied to the sale.

    • Total Revenu: The final revenue amount after taxes.

    • Profit: The gross profit (Revenue Pre-Tax less Cost)

    • Profit Margin: The percentage of profit generated on the sale (Profit into Revenue Pre-Tax)

    • Provider: The user selected on the line-item

    • Responsible: The user set as responsible for the (SOAP) Record

  3. Utilize Report Filters:

    Utilize filters to refine your analysis by:

    • Date Range: Analyze sales within a specific timeframe.

    • Sale Type: (SOAP) Record sales or Counter Sales

    • Sale Status: Open, Ready for checkout or Closed Sales

    • Product Category: Focus on the performance of specific product categories.

    • Service Category: Focus on the performance of specific service categories.

    • Visit Type: Analyze sales based on different visit types (e.g., consultation, follow-up, etc.).

    • Provider: user assigned to the line item charged

    • Responsible: user assigned as responsible for the (SOAP) Record
