📦 Stock Page Overview

The central location to manage stock quantities and batch information

ℹ️ The Stock page (found under Inventory → Products) gives you a clear view of all products with available stock. From here, you can manage batch quantities, track inventory levels, and perform essential stock management tasks — keeping your clinic’s inventory accurate and up to date.

📌 You can also use the Stock page to quickly access purchase orders related to your stock, making it easier to stay on top of reorders and supplier management.


⚙️ Setup & Access

You can access the Stock page by navigating to Inventory → Products → Stock.

To work with this page, make sure your role includes the following permissions:

  • View Stock → to see products with available stock

  • Update stock quantities → to adjust and manage batch quantities

  • View Orders → to access purchase orders linked to stock items

ℹ️ If you don’t see the Stock page, double-check your role permissions in Clinic Preferences → Roles & Permissions or contact your clinic admin.


🧾 Best Practice Workflows

The Stock page is designed to make day-to-day inventory management easier. Here are the key workflows you can use:

  1. View stock quantities at a glance

    • Quickly see all products with available stock.

    • Use the list view to check current quantities, batches, and reorder needs.

  2. Manage batch quantities

    • Select a product to view and update batch information.

    • Adjust stock levels, expiry dates, or other details to keep records accurate.

      ❗Batches are ordered from the most recent to the oldest
      Hide zero quantity batches will ensure that only batches with stock are visible

  3. Filter and create a Shopping List

    • Apply filters (e.g., low stock, out of stock, expiring soon) to identify products that need reordering.

    • Select the relevant products and transfer them directly to a Shopping List.

    • From there, you can later place a purchase order with your suppliers.

  4. Access and review purchase orders

    • From the Stock page, open related purchase orders for quick reference.

    • This helps you keep track of what’s been ordered, what’s pending, and when items are expected.

💡 Tip: Using filters regularly helps you stay proactive — avoiding both stockouts and overstocking.
