Managing patient information is an essential part of maintaining accurate medical records. Follow these steps to locate and edit a patient's details efficiently.
Searching for the Patient
You can search for a patient in two ways:
Using the Search Icon
On the top of your screen, next to your profile photo, click on the search icon.
A search bar will appear, allowing you to search by the patient’s name, phone number, or client’s name.
Using the Main Search in the Patient Tab
Navigate to the Patient tab.
Use the Patient search filter to search by name, id, microchip or rabies tag.
📌 If you search using the client's name, the patient's name will also appear in the search results.
Once you select the patient's name from the search results, a new page will open displaying the patient's health card.
Editing Patient Information
From the Patient Health Card click on the three dots (•••) button located on the right side of the screen.
In this case you will need to select the Edit Patient button.
The patient information will appear on a new page.
After entering the necessary details, click the Save button in the bottom right corner to confirm your changes.
📌 You can easily add new patient notes or update the existing ones from the patient card, by clicking on the purple button.
All the Patient Edits are tracked in a change log, so you can easily see who updated the patient information and when (even the updates were done by the client via the App).
