Each pet profile in Digitail has an owner, or client.
The same client can be linked to many pets, however, a pet can have only one primary owner (client).
Primary owner or client is the person whose name is on the invoices and is listed next to the pet's profile in Health Card:
Co-owners, or secondary owners, or contact persons, can be added here:
You can have more than one co-owner for a pet.
You can also link the same co-owner to all pets of the client; this allows you to save time if, for example, you want to add a spouse of the client to the profiles of all their pets.
Co-owners are not the same as owners/clients; they exist only in the form of a contact, and cannot have access to the pet's profile in Digitail app as of June 2024. They also cannot be added to the invoice, or to a vaccination or spay/neuter certificates.
