Digitail’s Wellness Plans are designed to help clinics offer clients prepaid annual care packages. Below are some common questions and answers to help you understand how wellness plans work in Digitail.


Payment Options for Wellness Plans

Currently, wellness plans are processed as prepaid annual subscriptions, which require a saved card on file.

  • ❌ Cash, check, or CareCredit payments are not supported at this time.

  • ✅ Card on file is the only available option.

Our product team has an active ticket to expand supported payment methods. This is on the product roadmap for future updates.


Revenue Center & AAHA Code

To ensure proper categorization in reporting, Wellness Plan revenue is tied to the following code:

  • AAHA Code: 5880 (Wellness / Pre-paid Plan Revenue Center)


Multi-Location Support

At this time, wellness plans are tied to a single clinic/location:

  • If a pet visits another clinic location, the linked records will not reflect that the client is on a wellness plan.

  • Discounts and benefits won’t automatically carry over between locations.

Good news: Multi-location support for wellness plans is on the product roadmap and will be added in a future release.
