Data migration simply means transferring your information from EzyVet into Digitail. We extract your data, clean and structure it, and upload it safely into your account so everything is ready for you during onboarding.

To get started, we need a few simple details:

  1. Install AnyDesk and share:

    • AnyDesk Computer Address (9–10 digits)

    • AnyDesk Password

    • Computer/PC Password (if applicable)

💡 Please leave the machine and AnyDesk running so we can complete the extraction without interruption.

Once access is ready, our specialists will:

  • perform the full export

  • download your data securely to AWS

  • begin preparing your First Migration


Step-by-Step Data Migration Process

Timeline Overview

First Migration → Data Validation → Final Data Migration → Final Migration (Go-Live)


1. First Migration

This is your preview of Digitail with your real clinic data.

  • Our team extracts your EzyVet data, cleans and maps it into Digitail’s structure

  • Everything is uploaded into a test environment for you to explore safely

  • Reminders and communications are turned off

  • On your live account, only staff users are imported so you can set roles and schedules during onboarding


2. Data Validation

This is your opportunity to confirm accuracy and get comfortable with where things live inside Digitail.

  • Review the data in your test environment or join a review call with your onboarding specialist

  • Check 3–5 patients to ensure information appears correctly

  • Share any inconsistencies and upload screenshots to help us resolve them

💡 This step must be completed at least 4 weeks before go-live to allow enough time for final updates.


3. Final Data Migration

This is the final update before your digitail launch.

  • We retrieve a fresh EzyVet backup

  • All changes made since your First Migration are included

  • Your validation feedback is applied thoroughly

By now, you and your team know what to expect in Digitail on launch day.


4. Final Migration (Go-Live)

Your Digitail account becomes fully active with the complete and up-to-date data set.

Expect the following:

  • Appointments linked to the correct users

  • Attachments fully uploaded into Patient Profiles

  • Reminders enabled so Pet Parents continue to receive updates

Your clinic can begin using Digitail immediately and confidently.
