📌 If you want to set this auto-logout for your clinic, please contact Support from the account of the user that is authorized to make decisions on behalf of the clinic.
Digitail Support can enable an automatic logout feature for all clinic users after a set period of inactivity. You can customize this inactivity duration based on your clinic’s needs, we typically recommend 10-15 minutes, depending on the number of staff members and available devices.
The inactivity time is measured when there is no mouse movement, clicks, or any actions on the Digitail screen.
📌 If you have another website open in a different tab or are using a desktop app, and the inactivity timer reaches its set limit, you will see a logout warning when you return to the Digitail screen.
📌 If you don’t have a Digitail tab open but are still logged in, the inactivity timer continues running and when you open Digitail again, the warning will appear if the inactivity period has been reached.
A notification will appear 20 seconds before the set time is reached, displaying the name of the currently logged-in user along with a countdown timer.
At this point, there are two options:
Switch User – Immediately log out and switch to another account.
Stay Logged In – Reset the timer and continue the session.
If the session expires before the you take any of the actions mentioned above, you will be logged out automatically.
An informational message will appear, displaying only the Confirm button.
Upon pressing the Confirm button, you will be redirected to the main login page and will need to re-enter the account details, including the password, to log in again.
