How to Configure SAML 2.0 for Digitail
This setup might fail without parameter values that are customized for your organization. Please use the Okta Administrator Dashboard to add an application and view the values specific to your organization.
Supported Features
The Okta/Digitail SAML integration currently supports the following features:
IdP-initiated SSO
JIT Provisioning

Configuration Steps
Contact the Digitail Support team (support@digitail.io) or your account manager to request the SAML 2.0 for your account.
Include the following Metadata URL with your request:
Sign into the Okta Admin dashboard to generate this value.
The Digitail Support team will process your request. After receiving a confirmation email, you can start assigning people to the application.

The following SAML attributes are supported:
email: user.email
first_name: user.firstName
last_name: user.lastName
primary_phone: user.primaryPhone
title: user.title
custom_location_attribute: appuser.customLocationAttribute
department: user.department
role: appuser.role
Adding custom attributes
In Okta, Go to Directory -> Profile Editor
Search for Digitail profile and select it
3. Click on Add Attribute, then enter the following information:
Display Name: Enter role
Variable name: Enter role
Select other options if required
Click Save
