How to Enable the Vetsource Integration
If you are not an existing Vetsource user, please reach out to them first to set up your account. Once you have your account, you'll be able to finalize the Vetsource-Digitail integration in a few clicks!
If you are an existing Vetsource user, you can follow these steps:
Go to Admin:
Log into your Digitail account and navigate to the Admin section. Under the Integrations section, you’ll find the option to enable the Vetsource integration.
Activate the Integration:
Select the Vetsource Prescription Management option and click on Activate. You will be prompted to enter your Vetsource aAPI Key to complete the activation process.
Using the Vetsource Integration in Your Workflow
Once the integration is enabled, you can begin using it to manage prescriptions directly through Digitail. Learn more about how to generate Prescriptions and Refills here.
Creating a New Prescription
When creating a new prescription for a patient, you’ll now have the option to send it directly to Vetsource. Go to the Medications tab, select the medication you want to prescribe, select 'External' and click on the plus button to send the details to Vetsource.
You'll see a Vetsource popup, where you'll need to confirm some of the information and submit the request. The patient and client details are sent automatically from Digitail, but you need to select the product and units.
Tracking Orders - Coming Soon
Keep track of all prescription orders through the Prescriptions tab in Digitail. This allows you to monitor the status of each prescription, ensuring that your clients receive their medications on time.
