Getting Started

You can use telemedicine to connect with your clients directly through Digitail. We integrate with Whereby as our telemedicine provider.

To get started, create an account at https://whereby.com/.


Setting Up Telemedicine

Once your account is ready, contact Digitail Support through the in-app chat. Let the agent know you would like to enable telemedicine and share your Whereby meeting URL with them.

Our team will configure the telemedicine feature for your clinic. Once you receive confirmation that it has been enabled, you can start using it directly within the Digitail platform.


Starting a Telemedicine Call from Chat

To begin a video call, open a chat with a client and click the camera icon.

The pet parent will receive a notification on their phone with a link to join the call. Tapping the notification will open the chat in the Pet Parent App.

The pet parent will click the shared link, allow camera and microphone permissions when prompted, and wait for the host (the DVM) to join the call.

On the clinic side, Whereby will open in a new window. Log in to your account, allow camera and microphone permissions when prompted, and join the call.

After joining the call, you can proceed with your consultation as you normally would.
