Digitail sends automatic notifications in the following situations:

  • When the practice adds a new appointment request

  • When the practice confirms an appointment

  • When the practice reschedules an appointment

  • When the practice cancels an appointment

Notifications can be sent via App, SMS, and Email.

In order to change the default settings for notifications go to Administration - Client Notifications - Alerts πŸ‘‰

New settings will take effect after clicking on the Save button.

When you add a new appointment, you'll see the rules you set up but you can change them on the spot for each individual appointment if needed.

πŸ“Œ Client with App

After you select the client, you'll see if they have the app installed or not. If they have the app they will receive in-app push notifications directly, so you might decide to remove the email or SMS notifications for them.

πŸ“Œ Client preferences

If the client has configured their own preferences in the app, you won't be able to override those. Let's say they decided they don't want to receive emails, then you'll see that email notification is not available for this particular client.

πŸ“Œ Active SMS package

If you don't have an active SMS package, you'll be notified that the SMS notification can't be sent.
