Payment Receipts are essential for providing proof of payment or refunds to clients. They are especially useful for non-card payments.
Preview Payment Receipts
Receipts can be previewed and shared with clients from multiple places on the platform.
Preview Payment Receipts from 'Add Payment'
Access the receipt preview directly after adding a payment.
Preview Payment Receipts from 'Refund Payment'
Preview receipts following a payment refund.
Preview Payment Receipts from the Billing section
In the patient's record, under Billing, click the Preview Receipt icon next to the payment.
Preview Payment Receipts from the Payments Report
The Payments Report also allows you to preview receipts for visits marked as 'Pending checkout' or 'Closed'.
Update Payments Receipts
You can do so from multiple places if you need to update a receipt.
In the Record, scroll down to the Billing section. Below the total, you can see a list of payments. Click on the Edit icon to update the payment. These changes will be reflected in the next receipt preview/print.
From the Payment Report, find the payment that needs updating, then click on the Edit icon to update it. These changes will be reflected in the next receipt preview/print.
Share Payment Receipts
Receipts can be shared via:
Email: Send to the pet parent or another email address.
Download: Save a copy of the receipt.
Print: Print the receipt for physical documentation.
Payment Receipt Design
