Tails AI Assistant - SOAP Verification

Meet your Ultimate AI-Powered Veterinary Virtual Assistant, verifying the accuracy of your SOAP notes.

Updated over 2 months ago

The SOAP Verification capability is designed to enhance the accuracy of your veterinary records.

By analyzing the current visit's SOAP notes alongside the pet’s medical history, Tails helps ensure that treatments and recommendations are safe, effective, and aligned with the patient's profile.

This feature minimizes the risk of discrepancies and enhances overall patient care.

Setup

If you're interested and want to learn more about how it works, pricing, and next steps, please feel free to get in touch with us through chat, contact your account manager, or send us an email at tails@digitail.io.

How does it work?

Once the SOAP notes for a current visit are drafted, simply click the "Verify SOAP" button.

Tails will then analyze the following:

  • SOAP Notes: The details recorded during the current visit, including subjective observations, objective findings, assessment, and plan.

  • Patient Details: Information such as breed, age, reproductive status, and medical history, such as previous lab results. Tails is also checking the previous medication or diets as well as preventative treatment.

During this analysis, Tails checks for:

  • Contraindications and Allergies: Any relevant historical information that may impact the assessment and treatment plan.

  • Dosage Verification: Confirmation that recommended medication dosages are appropriate for the patient's profile and weight.

  • Discrepancies: Identification of any inconsistencies between the SOAP notes and the pet's medical history.

The results of the verification will be displayed, highlighting any potential issues or recommendations for adjustments. This process ensures that you have accurate and reliable information to make informed decisions regarding your patient's care.

While Tails is here to assist, remember that the final decisions on patient care remain with the professional.
