Access our library of prompts for more suggestions:

Keep in mind that Tails is currently designed to handle queries about a single patient at a time, and it doesn’t have cross-knowledge about other patients.

With Tails, you have a powerful ally at your disposal! Tails can:

  • Streamline practice operations, enabling you to focus on what matters most—delivering exceptional care to your patients.

  • You can make administrative tasks like appointment scheduling, reminders, and follow-ups to facilitate seamless communication with pet owners.

  • Analyze patient symptoms and provide valuable insights and potential diagnoses based on relevant patient details.

  • Serve as a valuable resource for initial assessment and guidance to aid in your decision-making process.

  • Extract text from images and even analyze and summarize them with no effort.

Success Stories

AI is making our jobs easier without taking away the control over medical decisions. It’s like having a personal assistant who you can bounce ideas off of, get decision support and reassurance in your presumptive diagnoses. Utilizing AI’s help is far more efficient than sifting through textbooks or scouring the internet for answers. Additionally, because AI is integrated with our PIMS, it offers personalized responses tailored to our specific patients.

Brian Bernatzky, Hospital Manager at Paumanok Veterinary Hospital

I am using Tails AI every appointment now, I've got the groove going, and it is saving me so much time! I am actually staying caught up on my medical records.

Dr. Michelle Woodruff, DVM at Woodruff Veterinary Services

Using Tails AI reduces stress for me as a provider because I can spend less time and energy reviewing records, allowing me to be more productive. Just by that alone, I can spend more time with the client and their pet and also see more patients in my community.

Dr. Kristian Sorbo, BVM & S MRCVS, Medical Director at Mill Brook Animal Clinic

Interacting with Tails

Tails, your AI veterinary assistant is designed to be more than just a tool—it's your companion on your veterinary journey. We encourage you to engage with Tails as you would with a colleague or fellow veterinarian.

However, keep in mind that AI improves through experience and interaction. If Tails doesn't provide the expected answer right away, don't be discouraged. You can guide Tails by asking follow-up questions or rephrasing your initial query. If Tails did not provide the expected answer, please make sure to let us know by using the 👎 icon.

This iterative learning process is essential for Tails' growth and development. Your patient guidance and interaction will enable Tails to better serve your veterinary needs.

So go ahead—talk to Tails like a fellow vet. Probe deeper, ask challenging questions, and most importantly, enjoy the conversation!
