Get Started with Tails

You can interact with Tails on any patient-related page by clicking on the button “Chat with Tails”. In the chat box that opens, you can pose questions about the patient or seek more general information about a topic. Keep in mind that Tails is currently designed to handle queries about a single patient at a time, and it doesn’t have cross-knowledge about other patients.

Interacting with Tails

We've designed Tails to be more than just an AI tool—we've built it to be a fellow companion in your veterinary journey. As such, we encourage you to converse with Tails just as you would with a colleague or fellow veterinarian.

When asking Tails a question, feel free to use the same language and terminology you'd use in a professional veterinary discussion. Tails has been trained on a wide array of veterinary topics and should be able to understand and respond to your questions.

However, remember that AI learns from experience and interactions. If Tails does not provide the expected answer on the first try, don't be discouraged. You can guide Tails by asking follow-up questions or rephrasing your original question. By doing so, you're not only improving your current interaction but also helping Tails to better understand similar queries in the future.

This iterative learning process is crucial for Tails' growth and development. Your patient guidance and interaction will help Tails to serve you and your veterinary needs better.

So, go ahead—talk to Tails like a fellow vet, probe deeper, ask challenging questions, and most importantly, enjoy the conversation!
