Tails Prescreening is part of Tails, the veterinary AI assistant that makes your job easier, from summarizing medical information to dosage calculations to writing personalized discharge notes and AI Dictation for Quick SOAPs.

Setup

How does it work?

The check-in is open 3 days before the appointment's start date. Clients will get a push notification directly in the App when the check-in is available, or they can navigate directly to the specific appointment and start the process in their own time.

Tails Prescreening will ask the client for more information about the patient and the reason for the visit based on the upcoming appointment type and the patient's history.

Once Tails has enough information, they will summarize the conversation with the client and mark the check-in as complete. The entire conversation, together with the summary can be accessed by the clinic in real time from the chat.

The summary will be automatically added to the appointment's internal notes, which anybody can find directly on the Calendar or in the patient's Timeline.

When opening the medical record for the specific visit, the entire summary will be automatically added to the SOAP as well.
