Tails now has the ability to automatically review medical records, analyze patient details, and recommend relevant services and products. This feature helps streamline administrative tasks and reduces the chances of missed charges.

How does it work?

Use Tails Dictation for Automatic SOAP Notes:

  • Tails Dictation allows you to automatically generate your SOAP notes.

  • Once the Quick SOAP is synced with the medical record, or after completing your exam notes, use Tails AI to generate the Plan section.

  • Let it review your patient's medical record before recommending any treatment plan.

View the medical summary

  • Tails will display a brief medical summary of the patient, helping you recall findings and conclusions without needing to manually go through the entire record.

Tailored Recommendations:

  • Based on the medical notes, Tails will suggest specific services, investigations, or treatment plans for your patient.

  • Patient details such as breed, age, reproductive status, and previously reported allergies will be carefully considered in the recommendations.

Understanding Recommendations:

  • Unsure about a recommendation? Simply hover over the item to see the medical reasoning behind the suggestion.

Final Selection:

  • Click on the items that match your medical decision. A dropdown list of relevant products or services from your clinic’s database will appear, allowing you to make the final selection.

While Tails is here to assist, remember that the final decisions on patient care remain with the professional.

Please note, Tails doesn’t have access to your clinic’s specific services or stock list, so it’s important that you search for the correct item using your clinic's naming conventions.

  1. Are the recommendations updating automatically if the record information is changed?

    The recommendations will not update automatically. You will be informed that the data has changed and it is your call to refresh the suggestions.
