You can share the record summary with your clients in a few easy steps.
Health Card Record Sharing
In the Timeline section of the Patient Health Card, navigate to the Records tab. Here, you'll find the Share Records button.
π Records still in Draft mode will not be visible, as they cannot be shared yet.
For each record, you can view the following details:
Record Number
Date of the Visit
Services Provided / Reason for Visit
Main Provider
Attachments (if available)
This allows you to easily review and share the necessary health records as needed.
π Clicking on the record number will open the record in a new tab while clicking on the service(s) will display the summary of that specific visit.
On the right side of the screen, youβll find customization options for your summary. You can choose which sections to display or hide by clicking the eye icon.
By default, all sections are visible, but you can edit the summary to show only the information that matters most to you.
You can also select if you want to generate the summary as a single PDF file or an archive with separate PDF files.
You can then download the document(s) or directly send them via email (the client's email is predefined, but can be removed if needed) to a contact person or another practice.
Sharing from the Record
Another way to share records is directly from the Patient's Records page. Simply follow these steps:
Navigate to the record you wish to share.
Click on the actions button (three-dot menu).
Select Send record summary via email.
This will automatically send the record summary to the client, ensuring a quick and seamless sharing process.
By clicking on Advanced Record Options, you can toggle off the blue slide bar button to exclude specific details.
Additionally, you have the following sharing options:
View the Record Summary as a PDF β Open and review the summary in a PDF format.
Send Record Summary via Email β Share the summary with clients via email. You can also add multiple email addresses by separating them with commas.
This allows for greater flexibility in managing and sharing records efficiently.
What's New with SOAP 2.0 π (Open Beta)
SOAP 2.0 introduces several improvements to how records are shared. You can now share records in bulk more efficiently, with more control over what gets sent and how.
Here's what's changed:
Bulk sharing from the Flowboard and Health Card β share multiple records without navigating to the Timeline first
Single combined PDF β send all selected records as one PDF, with no record limit (previously capped at 40)
Custom email messages β add a personalized note when sending records via email
Chronological ordering β shared records are automatically sorted newest to oldest
π These improvements are available to clinics using SOAP 2.0.
Share Records from the Timeline
In the Timeline section of the Patient Health Card, navigate to the Records tab.
Here, you'll find the Share Records button.
For each record, you can view the following details:
Record Number
Date of the Visit
Reason for Visit
Record Status
Main Provider
Associated Documents
With SOAP 2.0, you can now select all of your records and generate a single combined PDF or separate PDFs. Records are automatically ordered from newest to oldest for easy review.
β
The Share Records function loads the most recent 25 visits, with the ability to load further visits if needed.
In addition to the 'Load All' function, you can select all associated records and documents, or select based on document type (ie, Records, Invoices, etc).
When sending via email, you can now include a custom message alongside the attached records. The client's email is predefined when sending directly to the client. Using the 'Custom Email' action, you can also add multiple email addresses in addition to adding an optional message.
β
You can still choose to generate the summary as a single PDF file or an archive with separate PDF files.
β
Share Records from the Flowboard
You can share records directly from the Flowboard β no need to navigate to the patient's Health Card first.
Open the Flowboard
Select Share Records from the top right corner
Filter which records to display or hide. You can filter by date range, Flowboard Status, Associated Staff, and Record Status.
Select Email Document to either email visit documents to their respective clients or use Custom Email to email all records to a custom email if needed.
This is especially useful for end-of-day workflows where you need to send multiple record summaries without opening each patient individually.
Share a Single Record from the Patient's Records Page
Another way to share records is directly from the Patient's Records page.
Simply follow these steps:
Navigate to the record you wish to share.
Click on the Record Summary button in the top right corner of the record.
Within the Record Summary page, you can filter SOAP sections and email the individual record.
With SOAP 2.0, you can also generate a toggleable PDF record summary for individual records β a quick way to preview and share a single visit's documentation.
β
π Discharge documents are not yet included in the bulk sharing flow. This is on our roadmap for a future update.
π± If the client has the app installed, they will have access to the summary of all records instantly. You can of course decide what information you want to make available in the app.
