Learn to adjust the price of your services in bulk or one by one.

Adjusting service prices in Digitail is essential for maintaining accurate billing and reflecting cost changes. This guide will help you adjust prices individually or in bulk.

You can easily adjust service prices one by one from the Services page. You can also change the price of multiple services at once, which will:

  • facilitate annual price increases ๐Ÿ“ˆ

  • ensure the correct prices are billed ๐Ÿ’ฐ

  • save you time and effort โณ

Adjusting Service Prices Individually

To adjust prices one by one, go to the Services page. Click on the edit icon next to the service you want to update. Here, you can modify both the price and the dispensing fee.

Adjusting Service Prices in Bulk

For bulk adjustments, navigate to Administration and select Services. Click the "Bulk update prices" button. You can enter either a percentage or a monetary value for the adjustment. For instance, entering 10 will increase prices by 10%, while -10 will decrease them by 10%.

Verify the changes before confirming, as this action cannot be undone. Price updates apply to the selling price, which includes tax, and will be effective when the next service is charged.

  • Prices will not decrease below zero.

  • Price updates are applied to the Selling Price, which includes tax.

  • Ensure to review the changes before confirming, as they are irreversible.

  • Bulk price adjustments can be applied to all services, specific services, or specific categories.


Use cases for Bulk Price Adjustments

Example 1: Updating all Service Prices

  1. Select All services on the page using the checkbox in the top right-hand corner of the table

  2. Navigate through pages and check the same box across different pages, if necessary (you can also choose to display multiple lines on one page so that you can select all items in one go)

Example 2: Updating specific Service Prices

  1. Select specific Services using the individual checkboxes or

  2. You can also use the service filters to search for specific services

  3. Navigate through the pages and select the required services

Example 3: Updating specific categories

  1. Use the service filters to search for specific categories/AAHA codes

  2. Select All services on the page using the checkbox in the top right-hand corner of the table

  3. Navigate through pages and check the same box as needed
