Ensuring that your pet's information is accurate in the Digitail app is important for effective record-keeping. Depending on the type of information that needs correction, the steps may vary. Below are the instructions for updating your pet’s breed and spay/neuter status.
Direct Edits by Pet Parents
If your pet's breed is listed incorrectly, you can make changes directly within the Digitail app by following these steps:
Open the Digitail app and log in to your account.
Navigate to the pet whose information you wish to update by clicking on their name at the top of the screen.
Tap on the "Edit" button to access the pet's profile.
Select the "Breed" dropdown menu. - Search for the correct breed using the search bar. - To select the correct breed, click on its name from the dropdown. - If an incorrect breed is currently selected, click on it in the dropdown to remove its checkmark.
Once you've made the required adjustments, click "Save" to update your pet's breed information.
Changes Requiring External Assistance
For corrections that cannot be made directly in the app, such as updating your pet's spay or neuter status, you will need to contact your veterinary clinic directly. The clinic staff will review your pet’s medical records and ensure that the information is accurate. Any changes made by the clinic will automatically update in the Digitail app, ensuring consistency across records.
