What each 1-Way SMS status means
Each country in this article has one of three 1-Way SMS statuses. This table explains what each status means for your clinic.

Is 1-Way SMS included in my Digitail subscription?
No. 1-Way SMS is a paid add-on, available for an additional fee. To add 1-Way SMS for your clinic, contact our Support team.
Why can't Digitail send 1-Way SMS to some countries?
Digitail can't send 1-Way SMS to some countries because of local telecom rules. Many countries require every business text message to come from a sender name that's registered and approved in advance, and carriers block messages from unregistered senders before they reach the client.
Would a different SMS provider get around the block?
A different SMS provider wouldn't get around the block. The registration rules apply to every SMS provider.
Will my clients still get appointment reminders without 1-Way SMS?
Your clients still get appointment reminders without 1-Way SMS. Where 1-Way SMS isn't available, appointment reminders and other client messages go out by email and app notifications.
What do my clients see as the 1-Way SMS sender?
Your clients usually see a US phone number in the From line of a 1-Way SMS, not your clinic's name, so include your clinic's name in the message text.
Which SMS provider does Digitail use?
Digitail sends 1-Way SMS through Twilio.
