Downloading the Digitail App
The App is free and can be downloaded from here. Your clients will also get a Welcome email with more details and a link to download the App. Additionally, it's important to know that pet parents should access their accounts through the Digitail mobile app, as the website login option is meant exclusively for clinic staff.

Logging In
Email and Password
If the clients are registered in your Digitail PIMS, they already have an account and can log in directly. They should use the email you registered them with and the password that was automatically generated and shared with them via the Welcome email. The Welcome email is sent automatically when you create a new Patient/Client in Digitail. If their email is not recognized, ensure that the email address provided is correctly registered in the Digitail system, as missing or incorrect registration can block their access.
Password Reset
If clients can't find the initial email or don't remember the password, they can reset it and log in with the new password.
Magic Link Option
Clients can log in using the Magic Link option. On the login page, they can click “Magic Link” to receive an email with a unique link that logs them in directly. They also need to make sure they use the same email address that they were registered with, but they don't need to remember or type the password from the Welcome email. If the magic link does not work, clients should ensure they are using the correct registered email or try requesting a new link. Persistent issues may require them to contact their clinic for help.

Troubleshooting Common Login Issues
Clients may face challenges such as their email not being recognized or being flagged as invalid. In such cases, they should:
Ensure the correct email is registered with their clinic.
Use the Digitail mobile app, as website access is for clinic staff only.
Try the Magic Link option or reset their password.
Contact their clinic for further assistance if the issue persists.
Imported Clients
All imported clients automatically have an account on the app. They need to make sure they use the registered email address when they log in and the Magic Link option (or reset password). If the email is not recognized, clients should confirm with the clinic that the correct email is on file and properly registered in the system.
Clients Without Email Addresses
Clients need a valid email address to access the app. You can update their profile in the Digitail PIMS with their email. After this, they can log in directly using the Magic Link option (that doesn't require a password) or set their password using the reset function. If they encounter email validation issues, clients should also contact their clinic to verify their email registration and resolve any discrepancies.
