Keep you inbox organized with Labels.

Updated over 4 months ago

You can stay up to date with what's going on in the clinic with the Notifications Center that is directly visible in the top corner of the platform, or through direct emails.

You will receive email notifications for appointments that are booked with you (as well as reschedules or cancelations) and for lab results (ordered by you) that are ready.

If you want to group all these emails in a specific folder (and even mark them as read automatically), you can do this in a few simple steps!

How to Filter your Inbox

For gmail users, you can create labels to keep things organized, and mark all emails as read or archive them directly / mark them to 'skip the inbox'.

Create a new Label

This quick article from Google explains how to do this in a few simple clicks. We recommend creating a General label as Digitail Notifications, and some sub-labels such as "Lab Results", "Appointments", or even a breakdown such as "Appointment Cancelations" and "Appointment Reschedules", if you want a more granular organization.

  1. On your computer, go to Gmail

  2. On the left, scroll down, then click More

  3. Click Create new label (you can also create sub-labels)

  4. Name your label

  5. Click Create

Add existing messages to a Label

  1. Select the messages

  2. At the top, click Labels

  3. Select an existing label, or create a new one

Set rules for new messages to be tagged with the existing Label

  1. Select an email and click on 'Filter messages like this'

  2. In the modal, leave the From field as 'noreply@digitail.io'

  3. If you want to organize the emails in sub-lables / sub-folders, you can add a rule for the 'Subject' or the 'Has the words' (to include things like appointment cancelation, lab results, etc)

  4. Click on 'Create filter'

  5. On the next screen, you can decide if besides tagging these emails with the selected label, if you want them to skip your inbox (they will still be visible in the Label/Folder), mark them as read automatically or even forward them to another colleague / the clinic's general email. Please make sure you also click on ;Apply the label' and select the label you want for this type of notifications

  6. All your labels will be visible on the left side, organized like folders:

You can manage these filters and rules from here. You can also add new ones, directly from this page.
